Christmas Recovery...

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and you are all recuperating well. We did our usual 4 Christmases in 36 hours and made it through seamlessly thankfully. I was elated to see the girls enjoy opening all of their gifts from Santa. Santa and Mrs Claus kept it simple at our house because we knew once we got to all of the grandparents that the girls would be spoiled rotten- and that would be a massive understatement. Santa was VERY good to them this year. It certainly feels like a major lull now that Christmas is over, but I am truly looking forward to ringing in the New Year, not because the hubby and I are going out anywhere special or getting all dolled up (let's face it with two toddlers we will probably be in our pj's by 9 lol), but I am praying for a happy and healthy 2013, not just for my family but for all of you as well.
2012 was a bit of a rough year for yours truly here at love to the moon & back, but nonetheless we made it through and are still here to tell about it! I have a positive outlook going forward into 2013 that we as a family will have a lot to look forward to and hopefully a very healthy year for all of us.

I would love to hear what everyone else has planned for New Years- I loved the days of having/going to a fun New Years party, getting all dolled up and anxiously awaiting my glass of bubbly and the hubs by my side (since we have been through 11 New Years together) for my smooch at midnight!

If you haven't had the chance to enter the giveaway from this Mrs Claus, please hop on over and enjoy it! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

  1. Happy New Year to you and yours! We don't have huge plans either. We are meeting up with a couple of friends with toddlers and I'm certain we'll be home way before midnight!
