Ok so after my two year old went around for an entire day saying a four letter word I really would have preferred she did not, I am sensoring myself now. (MAJOR BUMMER I KNOW!)
So I am linking up with 5 lovely ladies to show off why I am working hard to make the best of 2013. The first link up is for organization and literally New Year's Day the husband and I were at Home Depot finding ways to organize left and right.
One thing that has been the trouble spot for both of us is that we have this random cabinet that we use like a quasi pantry cabinet prior to this idea, but underneath there was like 4 1/2 feet of just empty, awkward space, so the husband and I fixed that.
Here's how we fixed it:
Since our cabinets in our laundry room are a dark oak and black mix, we went with black shelving and got little Tupperware bins for which I used my Erin Condren labels to label what was in each bin, we finally had a place to put the dogs belongings (haha poor little guy), and we stashed my gluten free snacks in there so the girls know that those are Mommy's only! This was a big help so far and next time or maybe later this week when the toy area isn't a disaster I will post on how we were able to expand toy space without losing too much space in the den itself :)
Happy Organizing!
I am heading over to AP's I love you more than carrots to check out how everyone else is kicking butt organizing for the new year! XOXO

I'm pretty sure we just bought that shelf for our.....DRESSER! We sold our master furniture and instead of having stuff everywhere...it's on that shelf. Glamourous huh?!?!?! Your organized pantry looks much better than my hubbub of undies socks and enough t shirts to clothe an army!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your post on the toy space! Our play area is actually in a small area off our living room.
ReplyDeleteWell done! I'm definitely interested in your toy area too!
