I am absolutely sobbing as I write this post because I cannot believe that our baby girl is FOUR years old already. Our precious little girl that arrived 7 weeks too early, but had perfect timing as she came on my Grandma's birthday, who turns 85 today, is an incredible four year old!
So onto the precious miracle- I am not going into her whole birth story because I already did that awhile ago and let's face it- it takes awhile to read- lol!
So we have a potty-trained, talking non-stop, amazing and quite brilliant (sorry to be bias) four year old.
We plan on making today HER day and letting her celebrate special! And since Daddy is off for MLK day that makes things really exciting because all of us as a family of four get to have fun together!!
I'd be lying if I didn't tell you that it was hard to welcome our Julianna into the world- a 5lb 3oz little peanut (not so little for a 33 weeker), kind of scared a lot of us, but since the day she was born, she was a fighter, independent and strong. To this day, and from this day forward she continues to be the same way (heaven help the guys that want to date her!!!) She looks exactly like her Daddy, but I hope in some way shape and form that I have had a positive impact on her inner beauty.
She is a true princess even though she will NEVER let you call her that to her face, she is humble and gracious. She is polite which makes Daddy and Mommy so proud and she loves her friends with all of her heart. But her absolute best friend is her sister, Kelsey. Even though she didn't plan on being a big sister so soon (she found out right before her first birthday, actually on her sweet Aunt Nah Nah's birthday). But I truly believe that for her when she looks back at all of her photos from that party and we tell her that is when we made the announcement that she would be a big sister, that she will tell us that Kelsey was her favorite birthday present. (A mom can hope right?)

(* This photo was taken during Hurricane Sandy in October when for a week straight these two slept in the same bed, a toddler bed mind you, because they wanted each other- my mommy heart melted into a thousand pieces!)
So to our amazing, generous, sweet Julianna, Happy 4th Birthday lovebug! We love you to the moon and back and are so incredibly proud of you! Thank you for being the gift that made us parents for the very first time- you are such a blessing and always will be!
